Fun, practical training for puppies, working dogs and owners who want clear guidance.
All of our training classes follow the same ethos. We use reward based methods with puppies and, as dogs become adolescents, we introduce gentle guidance to help build focus and good manners.
Fun is a key part of training. If you enjoy it, your dog is much more likely to enjoy it too. Training equipment can also be purchased from our shop.
One of the most helpful things you can do for your puppy is enrol them in a puppy socialisation course. These classes give owners support, advice and guidance as the puppy develops.
Wherever possible, classes include outside training. Puppies must have completed their vaccination programme. Please bring small treats and a favourite toy. Puppies stay on lead unless asked otherwise during the session.
Sessions take place in all weathers and can cover sit, wait, recall, heel work on and off lead, retrieving skills, hunting, distance control and whistle training.
Fun agility is suitable for most dogs and owners. Puppies follow a slightly different programme until they are fully developed. Agility equipment is great fun and encourages control, confidence and obedience.
The course is outside, so these classes are more weather dependent and usually better suited to the summer months.
One to one sessions are ideal for clients who cannot attend group classes or prefer private support. Sessions are tailored to you, your family and your dog, and can take place at home or another suitable location.
